Based in Quebec, our team of over 350 employees develop tailored meal solutions for airline companies, retail and food services for a wide variety of customers based in North America.

 

Fleury Michon's long-standing commitment to nutrition and innovation has been an integral part of our of history for over 110 years:

1905-1960:
WHEN IT ALL STARTED

Fleury Michon was founded by Félix Fleury and Lucien Michon as a humble charcuterie company in Vendée, France.

1970-1980:
RETAIL DEVELOPMENT

1979
1979 Introduction of Fleury Michon’s first Ready-to-eat Meals in France.
1987 Partnership with acclaimed Chef Joël Robuchon.

1989-1990:
THE BEGINNING

1989
1989 Construction began of Delta Dailyfood’s production facility in Rigaud (Quebec).
1990 The company started selling their first airline meals in 1990.

2002-2010:
INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

2002
2002 Low-Sodium products are introduced.
2004 Diversification in Corporate Catering: Room Saveur, Fauchon and FLO Prestige.
2005 Expansion in Spain with Platos Tradicionales.
2006 Fleury Michon SA acquires all assets of Delta Dailyfood Canada, North America’s leader in frozen food airline catering.
2010 ISO 26 000 certification.

2014-2015:
#EATINGBETTER

2014
2014 Global “Partner in Eating Better” project kick-off.
2015 Antibiotic-Free and GMO-free products hit the market.

2017-2019:

2017
2017 Fleury Michon America refocuses their business to concentrate almost exclusively on airline catering.
2018 Delta Dailyfood Canada becomes Fleury Michon America.
2019 Acquisition of Marfo, a leading airline caterer based in The Netherlands to become a global solution for the world’s largest airlines.
