About us

Our history.

Based in Quebec, our team of over 310 employees develop tailored meal solutions for airline companies, retail and food services for a wide variety of customers based in North America. In 1989 Construction began of Delta Dailyfood’s production facility in Rigaud (Quebec) and the company opened its door just a year later. In 2006, Delta Dailyfood was acquired by Fleury Michon SA and in 2018, Delta Dailyfood changed its name to Fleury Michon America Inc. (FMA). All of this was the start of who we are today. An established company specializing in producing meal solutions for airlines and retail institutions, amongst others. Thanks to the vast experience acquired over the years, we are now the most innovative partner in unique food concepts. Something we are very proud of.

For us, being a food supplier and nutrition specialist also means taking responsibility. Not only towards people, but also towards nature. Our involvement ranges from choosing raw materials close to home, all the way down the line to our own climate-friendly production. Precisely the areas that we can actively and directly influence for a greener and healthier planet. We are working closely with our packaging suppliers to be able to offer sustainable packing options to all our clients.

We are part of the Fleury Michon Group. Fleury Michon SA was founded in 1905 by Félix Fleury and Lucien Michon as a humble charcuterie company in Vendée, France. A successful meal partner with the same strong focus on sustainability.

For example, they have reduced the amount of plastic in their packaging material by 6000 tons in last ten years. A match made in heaven, perfect fit for us, and a company that we wanted to commit ourselves to. Together, we have ambitious goals. We are immensely proud to state that we are a certified ISO NEN-EN ISO14001 (renowned environmental) company. Our goals relate to animal welfare, water use, green electricity and CO2-neutral production. Together for a better future.

The Fleury Michon America name came into existence in 2018 and is substantiated by over 30 years of experience under its original corporate name: Delta Dailyfood.
